Emily first moved to Palm Beach County from rural Indiana to attend graduate school at Florida Atlantic University. Despite growing up in a land-locked state, she was always very interested in marine science and was an aspiring marine biologist when she began her animal behavior degree at Indiana University. During her undergraduate coursework, she interned with John D. MacArthur Beach State Park, where she became passionate about the field of environmental education. While pursuing her master’s degree in environmental education, she worked as a graduate assistant with Pine Jog Environmental Education Center and as an educator with Florida Power and Light’s Manatee Lagoon. Emily recently graduated from Florida Atlantic University and joined our team here at Florida Fishing Academy.
