The Florida Fishing Academy handicapped-accessible marine adventures.
Our program offerings include community fishing and snorkeling days on our partner’s newly launched 49-passenger, Coast Guard-inspected, hybrid, handicapped-accessible catamaran vessel and on electric-powered Sea Spi watercraft. The Sea Spi has a glass bottom that allows for above-water snorkeling trips, with hand controls that make it easy to maneuver, especially for those who cannot swim because of a disability or dependence on a wheelchair. Through this one-of-a-kind program, our floating classrooms will educate the community while showing others that it’s possible to enjoy the marine world in a way that does not leave harm in its wake.
