Operations Director
Shannon recently moved to West Palm Beach from Buffalo, New York, to pursue her passion as an environmental educator. She studied biology and environmental ecology at the State University of New York at Purchase College and completed two degrees in 3½ years. Shannon interned on the educational programing teams with the Friends of MacArthur Beach and the Loggerhead Marinelife Center. She also was a seasonal employee with Loggerhead Marinelife Center and Florida Safari Adventures, Build A-Field-Trip, strengthening her experience as an educator. Shannon has also volunteered with John D. MacArthur Beach State Park, the Sea Turtle Conservation League of Singer Island, and the Leatherback Trust in Costa Rica. Her extensive background as a biologist and educator makes Shannon a great fit for the FFA.
